Databases

Every organization has its own unique information management requirements, from simple contact management, to more complex information tracking, sharing, and publishing on the internet, catalogues, etc.

C&J Solutions will work with you to help determine the needs of your database solution, and select the most appropriate database tool for your systems.

With over 10 years experience in relational database design and programming, C&J Solutions can plan, design and implement a database solution that meets your needs.

Microsoft Access

Access is suitable for smaller organizations with a relatively small number of people sharing the database. Access databases can be ‘up-scaled’ to a client-server model should your organization’s requirements and data storage grow beyond Access’ capacity and performance. Microsoft Access is included in Microsoft Office Professional and integrates with the other applications in the Office suite. We have over ten years of experience with Access, going back to version 1.0 in Windows 3.1.

Microsoft SQL Server

SQL Server is Microsoft’s client-server database management system. It is suitable for databases that are used by multiple users, databases that require tight security, databases being used by multiple users, and databases to be integrated with ASP web pages.

MySQL

MySQL is a client-server database that has become the premier database solution for database driven web sites with dynamic content. MySQL is also a strong client server database for use on internal networks to produce cost effective client-server database solutions for internal use.
